Prege – painting

Ciro Strino’s style is predominantly surrealist even if he does not abandon classical research on the greatest Masters of International Art history.
In his paintings he expresses what for him is a dominant thought: the joy and the energy of chromatism understood as a tendency to use colors according to their intrinsic qualities. The use of different techniques and materials (oil, pastels, ink, pencil, airbrush, marble, glue, etc.) allow him to realize his dreamlike vision of art.
In the last few years, he has rediscovered the pleasure of the purity of materials and the vital contamination that they have through the color and he has arrived at an abstract phase that is a due stage of his path and strongly sought after.
