Bambi with skeleton 02 – painting

The Japanese artist Tomoko Nagao chooses the famous Bambi as the subject for this canvas, creating a pictorial version of oil on canvas, with the masterful drafting of layers and color glazes in Superflat technique, typical of contemporary Japanese pop art and a serial rereading imprinted with spray and stencil on canvas or on city walls according to the mood of street art.
All seasoned with the inevitable kawaii touch, which manages to make even the skull behind the fawn “tender”.
