Ko Smith’s works are inspired by mythology, mnemonics, personal memory and the way in which these categories come together to inform an individual’s experience. Smith is interested in building a body of work that connects themes and ideas in implied and suggested associa on; work in which the connec ng ideas of each piece develops with me. He lets his love for informa onal rabbit holes guide his process of developing ideas for his work, and aims to develop a body of work based on the connec ons between disparate ideas.
