Falling Leaves – decorative kit

Falling Leaves, by Alessandra Meacci, are tridimensional decorative elements made of plexiglass. These components of furniture recall the poetic view of leaves in autumn and those inspire to the traditional “paper-folding world”. With Falling Leaves is possible to draw the wall, not only with the decorative element itself, but mostly with the glares and shadows that it projects when illuminated. The atmosphere, rich of light and shadows, changes with the different hours of the day, depending on the sun light.
The proposed kit is designed to create a wall composition of approximately 170×110 cm; is made up of 12 pieces assorted in different shapes and materials. For this first run the elements are blended in gold-plated plexiglass, bronze mirror plexiglass and opalescent white plexiglass; Each kit has eight individual leaves – two different geometries – and four leaf groups – of two different types.
