Rody – aluminium tray

Rody, from the Limited Edition aluminium collection by Maòli, is a a tray also suitable as a centrepiece.

Maòli’s aluminium is obtained using all the waste coming to Madagascar from all over the world. It is all firstly tempered and then cast in the sand with the method that was used in Europe about forty years ago, called Staffa Matta. At the end of the production cycle, the pieces are brushed and polished until they reach the characteristic silver color that makes Maòli’s aluminium so special. This is a technique where the human effort is still absolutely protagonist.
