Memories – painting

Memories is an abstract artwork that explores the relationship between time, traces, and the layering of experience. A succession of concentric, irregular, and vibrating lines develops around a central core, creating a hypnotic movement that recalls the formation of memories: fragments that accumulate, overlap, and transform over time.
The composition, built through a rigorous geometric structure crossed by thin signs and linear coordinates, combines precision and imperfection, order and instability. The small black elements scattered throughout the space act as visual anchor points, evoking details, presences, or moments emerging from both collective and personal memory.
Memories thus becomes an emotional map, a visual archive in which the mark itself becomes testimony to the passage of time and to the complexity of human experience.
