Re Leone – sculpture

“Re Leone”, by the artist Daniele Basso, is an explicit dedication to his son Leone, born recently, with the desire to share the meaning of this name, investigating its high symbolic value and its deepest essence, towards a universal connotation. A wish of courage and pride that are intertwined with the force expressed by the animal in nature. Today when foxiness seems to replace the values of coherence and dignity on several levels, it is a reflection on the power of those who he believes in his dreams and has the courage to pursue them.
