Microworlds No. 12 – painting

MICROWORLDS is a series born from the observation of everyday life and transformed into a dreamlike journey through mental and symbolic landscapes. Each of us experiences a different reality, shaped by habits, relationships, commitments, and culture — elements that intertwine to construct a unique vision of the world. This personal and unrepeatable perspective gives form to what the artist calls the microworld.
It represents an intimate exploration, a map of the soul. The illustrated cities appear deserted, yet they are actually inhabited by silent symbols and emotional pathways. Stairways ascending and descending evoke the journey of life, with its inevitable highs and lows. The viewer moves through the work with both gaze and mind, crossing buildings, obelisks, pyramids, lighthouses, eyes, and piers that merge into surreal structures dense with meaning.
The drawing, created entirely with markers, emerges without a predefined scheme, leaving space for instinct and imagination. The elements add narrative and material layers to the artwork itself, as if they were fragments of memories, cultures, and places.
It is not merely a visual work, but an invitation to reflection: the observer is called to recognize their own inner world, to lose and rediscover themselves within the details, the symbols, the emptiness and fullness of a city that is at once real and imaginary. A mental place where the substance of everyday life transforms into vision.
